WaterLoop is a 5K and 10K Trail Run in Honor Heights Park; Muskogee, Oklahoma. We picked the hottest Saturday night of the year because THIS TRAIL RUN IS DIFFERENT, IT HAS COOL-DOWN WATER ZONES! On this 3.1 mile loop you'll encounter a splash pad, irrigation sprinklers, the Muskogee Fire Department, and other secret watery surprises to cool you down and keep you going. Splash around all you can handle, but remember the run is competitive!
Course is hilly in some sections as it winds up, down and around Honor Heights Hill (elev approx 250 feet). Smooth dirt trails on most; some roots and rocks. Little or No Mud! Cool-down zones are in paved or graveled sections of the run.
After the run, join us for the awards ceremony, enjoy live music, drawing for prizes, and have some snacks and drinks. Budweiser will be providing two complimentary beers for each participant.(for those of legal age!!!)
Each participant receives t-shirt with the WaterLoop logo, and packets with lots of goodies from sponsors.
WaterLoop is a benefit for two non-profits; 'Women Who Care' and 'Women in Safe Homes'. 'Women Who Care' is a cancer benefit, and 'Women in Safe Homes' helps victims of domestic violence, both of these charities are local organizations and the money stays local! There will be lots of volunteers and survivors! So show your support and come join us!
